TUFF TWELVE GLASS Fully Tempered and Heat Strengthened glasses are of supreme industrial grade. They are produced by processing glasses in Horizontal Roller Heath Oscillating Tempering Furnace at typically 625° – to form uniformly heated glass which is then rapidly cooled in a process called ‘quenching the glass’ by simultaneously blowing air through evenly distributed high-pressure air nozzles on both sides of the glass.
A high air-flow rate is used to produce TUFF TWELVE Fully Tempered Glass and a much lower airflow rate leads to the production of TUFF TWELVE GLASS Heat-strengthened Glass. Both the glasses have increased strength to resist higher levels of impact, mechanical load and thermal stress.
